PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain the occurrence of a cutting mark called a feed mark to stably perform base finishing with good finishing surface accuracy even when high-speed machining or high-feed machining is performed or an end mill is a little tilted and inclined in the actual cutting, in an end mill for finishing the base of cut material. SOLUTION: A corner part 13 where a bottom blade 11 and an outer peripheral blade 12 intersect each other at the end part of a tool body 10 is formed like a circular arc, and the bottom blade is formed like a circular arc from the circular-arc corner part to be projected toward the top. When the radial distance from the center position of the circular arc of the bottom blade to the outer peripheral end of the outer peripheral blade is (a), the radius of the circular arc of the bottom blade is taken as R, and the diameter of rotational locus of the outer peripheral blade at the tip of the tool body is D, the value of a/D ranges from 0.01 to 0.15, and the above radius R ranges from 3D to 10D.
