Oxygen concentrator with regulable output concentration uses an additional control device which does not affect the actual delivered flowrate. Preferably an additional oxygen concentration probe and analyzer is also included with set-point alarms. An adjustable flow regulator to provide at least 5 litre per minute of leakage is fitted as a Y-branch between the air compressor outlet and molecular sieve adsorption bed inlet, providing direct control of the feed rate and operating pressure of the adsorber, and thereby the output oxygen concentration.
