<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an optical recording medium containing dyes in a recording layer and having excellent productivity. <P>SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of the optical recording medium having a recording layer containing a plurality of dyes having absorption wavelengths different from each other on a substrate, application liquid for forming the recording layer containing the plurality of dyes is applied by a spin coat method for forming the recording layer in the case of forming the recording layer, the application liquid for forming the recording layer or the dyes scattered by a spin coater is collected, the collected application liquid or the dyes are dissolved in the same solvent as the solvent of the application liquid at at least two dilution ratios different from each other to form dilution liquids, the concentration of the dyes in the dilution liquids is measured by a transmission spectrum in a concentration measuring step, the concentration of the dyes is adjusted by adding insufficient amounts of the dyes or the solvent based on the concentration measured by the concentration measuring step to prepare a dye containing liquid in a dye containing liquid preparing step and the dye containing liquid is reused as the application liquid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
