<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a platform door device on a platform capable of changing the opening and closing speeds of the door according to the condition of a time zone or the like, and reducing the impact or the mental burden when a weak person or the like is brought into contact with the opening/closing door. <P>SOLUTION: The platform door device registers information on a plurality of kinds of closing speed patterns and a plurality of kinds of opening speed patterns, information on the operational time zone of the plurality of kinds of closing speed patterns and the plurality of kinds of opening patterns for each platform door.
