PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a space control structure between members in an image forming apparatus, in which it is unnecessary that a spacer is installed while being pressed with a hand, when the space between the members in the image forming apparatus is controlled with the spacer, and the space can be controlled through the use of the same spacer, even when many spacers are used. SOLUTION: A spacer 34 is composed of a flat plate section 34a held between a thermistor 27 and a support member (not shown in Figure) and a folding section 34b provided to be held by the thermistor 27, when the space between a fixing roller (not shown in Figure) and the thermistor 27 is controlled by inserting the spacer 34 between the thermistor 27 and the support member supporting the thermistor 27. A plurality of groove sections 35 engaged with the folding section 34b are provided on the side of the thermistor 27.
