PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively suppress separation at an outer end in the width direction of a belt ply 25 of the maximum width. SOLUTION: A reinforcement cord 26 inside the belt ply 25 of the maximum width comprises a normal diameter reinforcement cord 26a and a small diameter reinforcement cord 26b arranged alternately with the normal diameter reinforcement cord 26a and having diameter smaller than that of the normal diameter reinforcement cord 26a. Since both outer end parts of the small diameter reinforcement cord 26b are protruded outwardly from both outer ends 42 of the normal diameter reinforcement cord 26a, distortion is generated between the outer ends 42 of the normal diameter reinforcement cord 26a and its surrounding rubber and between the outer ends 43 of the small diameter reinforcement cord 26b and its surrounding rubber.
