<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain changes in the voltage of a power source without using electronic devices having rated voltages higher than the original power source voltage, in an electronic apparatus having the plurality of electronic devices supplied with power from a single power source. <P>SOLUTION: In a Print mode executing an image forming process, a MAIN FAN, PSFAN, DC motor, and polygon motor are all driven at full speed (ON), so that a large amount of 24V current flows. On the contrary, in a Standby mode remaining in a standby state until an instruction to carry out image formation is given, the 24V voltage may increase. Therefore, when a DC motor current is set to 0A (OFF) in order to stop the DC motor, the polygon mirror is kept driven at the full speed.
