<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weather strip for an automobile which can be easily mounted in the predetermined position certainly, capable of precluding certainly noise emission from a flange. <P>SOLUTION: The weather strip 10 has a mounting base part 20 attached to the flange installed on either of a body opening opening/closing member and the periphery of a body opening and a seal part 30 installed rigidly on the mounting base part for sealing the gap between the body opening opening/closing member and the body opening periphery upon abutting to the other of the body opening opening/closing member and the body opening periphery. The mounting base part 20 has an approximately L-section formed at least from a bottom wall 23 and an extra-vehicle side wall 21 and is structured so that the intra-vehicle side face of the extra-vehicle side wall and the flange are adhered to each other by a double-side adhesive tape 25, and a sliding member 27 is installed over the area from the side end of the adhesive tape to the inner surface of the bottom wall so as to facilitate sliding of the flange forefront. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
