A method for compensating a voltage based on a multi-layer perceptron model is provided to efficiently compensate a voltage sag or a voltage swell by changing a connection weight of a multi-layer perceptron model corresponding to a gain of a PID(Proportion-Integration-Differentiation) control scheme based on the multi-layer perceptron model. A method for compensating a voltage based on a multi-layer perceptron model includes the steps of: calculating an output voltage of an output layer based on an input voltage inputted to an input layer, a connection weight between nodes of the input layer and nodes of a hidden layer, a connection weight between nodes of the hidden layer and nodes of the output layer, and a threshold value of the output layer and the hidden layer(S1); calculating an output layer error as a difference between the output voltage of the output layer and the predetermined reference voltage, and calculates an error square sum which is defined as a square sum of the output layer error(S2); and updating the connection weight and the threshold value from the output layer error based on a back propagation algorithm(S3).
