An apparatus for manufacturing sarira from ashes of a man or a pet animal is provided to keep skeletal remains or powdered bones over a long period of time. An apparatus comprises a skeletal remains injection unit, a skeletal remains supply unit(30), a skeletal remains crushing unit(40), a powdered bone melting unit(50), a cutter(60), a sarira producing unit(70), and a main body(10). The skeletal remains crushing unit includes a hopper body(32) arranged below one end of the skeletal remains injection unit, and a crush roller(34) arranged beneath the hopper body. The skeletal remains crushing unit includes a guide panel(42) inclined below the crush roller, a bracket(48) for supporting a top of the guide panel, and a pair of crush rollers(44) arranged at a lower end of the guide panel. The powdered bone melting unit includes a main body with a plurality of powdered bone containers(54), heating torches(55a) arranged on the respective powdered bone containers, and an open/shut member(56) having a port(56a) selectively communicated to open bottoms of the powdered bone containers. The main body of the powdered bone melting unit is rotatable by a motor. The cutter is arranged beneath the open/shut member. The sarira producing unit is arranged in the vicinity of the cutter, and rotates by a motor(72b). The main body has a lower portion with a sarira box(13) arranged to be slidable in forward and rearward directions. The main body accommodates the skeletal remains supply unit, the skeletal remains crushing unit, the powdered bone melting unit, the cutter and the sarira producing unit, and is mounted onto a cargo of a vehicle. |
