FLUID HEATED EXCAVATOR BLADE

A fluid heated excavator blade includes, in combination, an excavator having a hydraulic system and a blade body mounted on the excavator. The blade body has an internal flow passage having an inlet end and an outlet end. The inlet end and the outlet end of the internal flow passage of the blade body is connected to the hydraulic system of the excavator. During operation of the excavator, hydraulic fluid is circulated through the internal flow passage of the blade body from the inlet end to the outlet end, thereby elevating the temperature of the blade body and reducing the temperatures of the hydraulic fluid.
