DIGITAL CAMERA AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera for controlling exposure of a still picture with a mechanically operated shutter screen and capable of attaining screen display of a moving picture in real time and to provide a control method thereof.

SOLUTION: The control method of the digital camera includes the steps of: using an electronic shutter to display a moving picture based on electric charges stored in an area image sensor on a screen in an opened state of the shutter screen; detecting the illuminance of the shutter screen in a closed state of the shutter screen; setting a still picture exposed period on the basis of the detected illuminance of the shutter screen; exposing the area image sensor for the still picture exposure period in the opened state of the shutter screen; and storing the still picture to a recording medium based on the electric charges stored in the area image sensor for the still picture exposure period.
