PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dice type learning apparatus enabling a user to learn the four rules of arithmetic or the like by a sense of games and allowed to be used as an intellectual capacity training apparatus for an infant or an aged person. SOLUTION: The dice type learning apparatus having the external appearance of a regular polyhedron and forming display devices (26) on respective surfaces is provided with a digital switch (16) for setting a decimal set value, a switch (18) for specifying one operator and a start switch (24) for instructing the start of operation. At least one random number is generated in accordance with the start instruction, and a control part 14 obtains a succeeding number of the specified operator when an operation result of operation using the random number as a preceding number of the operator in operation using the specified operator in each random number is the set value (step 40), and displays each random number and the right-side number obtained correspondingly to the random number on the display device (step 42 or 64).
