PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To meter fruit fleshes without breaking down the shape of the fruit fleshes, and to accurately fill specified numbers of the fruit fleshes in each container. SOLUTION: The fruit fleshes are separated one by one by a rotary feeder 20 of a filling apparatus 10, and a predetermined numbers of the fruit fleshes 11 are discharged from the rotary feeder 20 by opening and closing a shutter 30 provided in an outlet of the rotary feeder 20. The fruit fleshes 11 discharged from the outlet of the rotary feeder 20 are carried by placing them on a conveyor 40 under a condition that the fruit fleshes 11 are aligned in a row, and the fruit fleshes 11 carried by the conveyor 40 are fed into a container 12 on a filling machine 60 by a pneumatic pressure of an air shoot mechanism 50.
