A mother substrate for a light emitting diode, a manufacturing method thereof, and a light measurement apparatus thereof are provided to reduce a measurement time by using a large measuring pad instead of a small measuring pad. A substrate includes a central region and a peripheral region. A light emitting diode part is formed on the central region and includes one or more light emitting diodes. A measurement electrode pad part is formed on the peripheral region and transmits the power supplied from the outside to the light emitting diode part to measure an operation of the light emitting diode. The electrode pad part includes an first measuring electrode pad portion(154) connected with first electrodes of the light emitting diodes and a second measuring electrode pad portion(144) connected with second electrodes of the light emitting diodes.
