A plasma display device, and a gate driving device and method are provided to restrict malfunction of transistors reducing the voltages of electrodes in a sustain discharge circuit. A plasma display device includes electrodes forming a discharge cell; a first transistor(Yf) changing the voltage of the electrode; an amplifier outputting the high or low level voltage to an output stage in response to a control signal(IN); a first capacitor(Cb) connected between the output stage of the amplifier and a gate of the first transistor and provided with a first stage connected to the output stage of the amplifier; a first diode(Dz) connected between the second stage of the first capacitor and the first stage of the first transistor; and a second transistor connected between the gate and the first stage of the first transistor and provided with a control terminal connected to the second stage of the first capacitor.
