The drive has two toothed belt disks for initiation of drive moment and for conduction of drift moment, respectively. A toothed belt (6) couples the disks for transmission of torque. Holding down devices (7, 8) are arranged in an area of one of the disks of a rear side of a spherical recirculation nut (5), so that distance to the side is smaller than interference depth of one of teeth of the nut in other teeth of the disks. An independent claim is also included for a steering gear of a vehicle.
