<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent diffused vaporized fuel from being discharged to the outside and prevent an air-fuel ratio from being disturbed by desorption of the caught vaporized fuel and mixing into intake air. <P>SOLUTION: This hydrocarbon processing device has an engine 10, an intake passage 26 for leading the air taken into through an intake air taking-in port 30 into the engine 10, and a hydrocarbon oxidation body 25 including an oxidation treating means 25b provided in the intake passage 26, oxidizing hydrocarbon flowing in the intake passage 26 while the engine 10 stops, and decomposing the hydrocarbon into water and carbon dioxide. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
