PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope apparatus where the soundness of an insertion part side electrode is kept even when an adapter is removed from an endoscope insertion part. SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with an endoscope insertion part 2 to be inserted to a patient; a mounting surface 13 which is provided at the endoscope insertion part 2 and to which an adaptor 12 having an adapter side electrode is mounted detachably; and the insertion part side electrode 32 which is provided at the endoscope insertion part 2 and which is connected electrically with an adapter side electrode when the adapter 12 is mounted to the mounting surface 13.
