PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum can which is lightweight and has a high vacuum strength by specifying the shapes of beads formed on the outer surface of the can body part of the drum can. SOLUTION: The drum can has the beads on the outer surface of the can body part of the drum can. In the shapes of the beads, the height d of the mountain part of the bead is 5-15 mm, the radius a of curvature of the mountain part of the bead, the radius a<SB>1</SB>of curvature of the trough part of the bead, and the radius a<SB>2</SB>of curvature of the foot part of the bead are respectively≤20 mm, the interval b between the mountain parts of the beads is≤50 mm, the height e from the outer surface of the can body part to the trough part of the bead is -10 mm≤e≤4 mm, and sets of two beads adjoining each other are provided at two positions so that the intermediate point of the interval b of adjoining two mountain parts of the beads is positioned within a range of 1/3±100 mm from the upper end part in the height direction of the drum can body part and 1/3±100 mm from the lower end part.
