PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capsular toner excellent in humidity dependence resistance without considerable restriction on materials of core particles used. SOLUTION: Colored resin particles (A) having a volume average particle diameter of 3-10μm are fluidized by a fluidizing gas, a spray liquid in which resin particles (B) are dispersed in a hydrophobic solvent is sprayed from spray nozzles 3 on the surface of the colored resin particles (A), and the solvent is evaporated by making the colored resin particles (A) ascend between a container 1 and a draft tube 7 to form the objective capsular toner having high hydrophobicity and excellent in humidity dependence resistance.
