A welding wire container is provided to smoothly unwind the welding wire until its lowest layer part without any tangle of the welding wire by arranging a presser jig on the welding wire coil. The welding wire container includes an outer cylinder(1) for limiting a side wall of the container, a bottom plate(5) for limiting a bottom part of the container and forming a caulked portion(1a) by blocking the outer cylinder to be fixed to the inside of the outer cylinder, and a presser jig(2) arranged on a welding wire coil(10). The presser jig includes a ring-shaped flat board and a barrier rising perpendicularly from the outer edge of the whole periphery part of the flat board. The barrier has a shape that a diameter of a lower part is smaller than a diameter of an upper part and an outside diameter is smaller than an inside diameter of the caulked portion of the outer cylinder.
