<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display method in a portable terminal apparatus capable of conspicuously displaying which position in the whole page is a practical display area. <P>SOLUTION: In the case of displaying information of each page including characters, symbols and/or images on the screen of the portable terminal apparatus, a part of the information of each page which occupies the page is displayed on the screen as a display area 30, a display area position displaying pattern plotting the position of a display area 42 is displayed in the page 41 in a superposed state, and the position of the display area 42 plotted in the display area position displaying pattern is moved in accordance with scrolling of the display area 30. According to the display area position displaying pattern, a user can easily understand which position in the whole page corresponds to the practical display area 30. Since the display area position displaying pattern is displayed so as to be superposed to characters, patterns or the like in the display area 30, the display area on the screen for displaying the page is not substantially narrowed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
