The gearbox has two clutch engaging mechanisms (13) arranged between a drive wheel (8) and main drive shafts (9A, 9B) of wheels of a rolling vehicle. The mechanisms are activated and deactivated by rotatably driving the wheel (8) and drive shafts, respectively when an engine input shaft (4) is overlocked or speed of rotation of the drive shafts is greater than that of the wheel (8). Each drive shaft is free to rotate in any direction of rotation when it is at the deactivated state of the mechanisms. Each mechanism cooperates with the drive shafts to set the wheels of the vehicle in free wheel. An independent claim is also included for a rolling vehicle with power operated driver, such as lawnmower, comprising a gearbox.
