The hand power saw or polisher has a drive roller (6) for the cutting or polishing belt which is spring tensioned and passes over guide rollers (14,16). The guide rollers define a free area for the belt to allow it to follow the contours of a rounded workpiece. The guide rollers have a roller body (15) to guide the belt and outer end plates (13,15) to retain the belt as it moves.
