PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein magnetism transmission efficiency is reduced and performance is sacrificed, although a sufficient installation clearance is required to prevent deformation of a sliding core due to contact of a tip side of the sliding core with an insertion recessed part when a tip of the sliding core is not fixed. SOLUTION: A ring core 23 made of magnetic substance and covering the outer periphery of the sliding core 20 to deliver magnetic radial flux to/frm the sliding core 20 and deliver axial magnetic flux to/from a bottom part of a cup of a yoke 17 is provided on the tip side of the sliding core 20. This ring core 23 is provided to move in the radial direction together with the sliding core 20. Consequently, even when the tip of the sliding core 20 is not fixed and there is the assembly clearanceαbetween the sliding core 20 and the insertion recess 22, the sliding core 20 and the bottom part of the cup of the yoke 17 are magnetically connected through the ring core 23 to eliminate reduction of magnetic flux due to the assembly clearanceαand keep high performance of the linear solenoid 2.
