A display device and a driving method thereof are provided to increase the aperture ratio of pixels by applying reverse-bias voltage to each pixel by a data driver IC(Integrated Circuit) without a transistor and a signal line. A display device includes plural pixels comprising plural scan signal lines(Gi), plural first and second data lines(Dj) crossing the scan signal lines and transmitting data voltage, a switching transistor(Qs) connected with the scan signal line and the first or second data line, a capacitor(Cst) and a driving transistor(Qd) connected to the switching transistor, and a light emitting element(LD) connected to the driving transistor and a data driving unit generating the data voltage including normal data voltage and reverse-bias voltage and applying one of the normal data voltage and reverse-bias voltage to the first line and the other to the second data line according to a selection signal.
