<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ink with excellent storage stability when a self dispersing type pigment which has been made hydrophilic is used as a coloring material, particularly which is free from clogging by dry up of the ink at the tip of a discharge nozzle and constantly exhibits favorable discharging response and stability, and provides uniform images in high resolution and at a high density without bleeding or fogging on a sheet of paper, and an inkjet recording method using the ink. <P>SOLUTION: The recording ink contains at least water, a water-soluble organic solvent, a self dispersible pigment having at least one hydrophilic group on its surface and a pantothenic acid salt. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
