An industrial robot, comprising a joint part having a mounting part (23) for burying a positioning member in one or both of relatively rotating two members and a guide part (24) for protrusively sliding the positioning member (22) thereon. Also, a lubricating material sump groove and a projected position marker indicating a prescribed projection amount are formed in the side surface of the positioning member. Thus, an origin adjusting device accurately manufacturable at low cost and requiring extremely less labor can be provided.
