<p>The arrangement has a reverse gear unit (26) designed as an assembly module and installed in a drive unit (10) for reversion of rotation. The unit (10) is integrated in a front-transverse installation position and a rear-transverse installation position that is rotated opposite the front position around 180 degrees to a normal axis in a motor vehicle. The unit (26) is installed in one of the installation positions. The unit (26) is mounted in an area of a starting unit (14) and between an internal combustion engine and a change speed gearbox.</p>
