<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a service providing system, capable of providing various services by facilitating addition of newly emerging input and output resources. <P>SOLUTION: A device ID and a detection result outputted from a detector are acquired, and a device model corresponding to the device ID is retrieved in reference to a device definition storage part storing IDs of detectors in association with the models of detectors, and a basic context corresponding to the retrieved device model is retrieved in reference to a basic context definition storage part storing basic contexts in association with the device models.
