PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content reproducing device capable of reproducing music data in seamless by detecting and storing a music position from audio content data and using the information of the music position during reproduction. SOLUTION: This content reproducing device 10 is provided with: a content data reading section 12; a content data separating section 13; an audio content data classifying section 15; a music position detecting section 16; and an audio content data reproducing section 18. The device 10 reads content data from a content file 11, separates the content data into audio content data and video content data, classifies the audio content data into music data and nonmusic data, recognizes music data with respect to the audio data classified into the music data to detect and store a music position in a storage section 17, and reproduces the music data of the audio content data based on the music position.
