PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an network communications system that can provide various services by receiving services from the center system, irrespective of the conditions of the host terminal device. SOLUTION: This is a communications system 100 having a host terminal device 7 connected to the center system 1, and slave terminal devices 10 connected to this host terminal device 7 and the center system 1. The slave terminal device 10 has a memory for storing the identification information of the host terminal device 7 for communicating and a communication control to log in to the center system 1 via the host terminal device 7 when the identification information of the host terminal device 7 is stored in this memory or to log in, directly to the center system 1, when it is not stored. The host terminal device 7 has a memory for storing the identification information of the slave terminal device 10 to communicate and a communication control to relay communication, between the slave terminal device 10 whose identification information is stored in the memory and the center system 1.
