摘要 A cleaning robot having a press-sensing function and a method thereof are provided to maintain the function and formation of the cleaning robot by checking pressure and the time for pressing the upper end of the cleaning robot, separating the cleaning robot from a predetermined area through an evasion algorithm, and informing a user about a non-evading case. A cleaning robot having a press-sensing function comprises a press sensing unit(160) for detecting pressure on the upper end of the cleaning robot to output electric signals; and a microprocessor(150) for controlling to make alarm sounds about evasion or pressure on a predetermined area of the cleaning robot according to the time of sensed signals outputted from the press sensing unit. The cleaning robot includes a driving unit(130) having left and right wheel motors(131,132) for driving the cleaning robot; a memory(170) for keeping audio signals caused by pressure alarm of the cleaning robot; and an audio outputting unit(180) for converting the audio signals into audible sounds and outputting it according to control signals of the microprocessor. The microprocessor has a driving control unit(151) for regulating operation of the driving unit according to control signals; and a press-sensing processing unit(152) for receiving signals outputted from the press sensing unit, outputting control signals to the driving control unit to evade a predetermined area according to the evasion algorithm, continuously receiving signals from the press sensing unit after avoiding the pressure through the evasion algorithm, and outputting control signals to the audio outputting unit about the sensed pressure.
