PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game apparatus which has the diversity and can exert an educational effect. SOLUTION: In the game apparatus, a character shape of a question character type and an answer character type are compared and verified for each square unit, whether the question character type and the answer character type coincide with each other or not is compared and verified by a comparison and verification means, and the answer result reporting information is outputted from an answer result reporting means corresponding to the result of the comparison and the verification.
