PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating film curing method and apparatus for efficiently and surely curing a coating film by irradiating the coating film with ultraviolet rays. SOLUTION: The coating film curing apparatus 10 comprises an ultrasonic treatment apparatus 22 for applying ultrasonic waves to the coating film 14 of a base material 12 while blowing inert gas thereto, and an irradiation apparatus 24 for irradiating the coating film 14 with ionizing radiation, such as ultraviolet rays.
