PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission method for detecting a failure of units divided by partitions and performing immediate stop processing. SOLUTION: In the failure transmission method for a computer comprising a plurality of units A divided by partitions and a unit B mutually connecting the units A and adapted to broadcast identical information generated based on information transmitted from the units A to the unit B from the unit B to the units A, the units A report failure information, in the event of failure in the units A, as information, the unit B generates, upon receiving the failure information, identical failure information based on the failure information, and reports the identical failure information to normal units A. The units A which received the identical failure information immediately stop the units A contained in the same partition when the information is related to a unit A belonging to the same partition, and continue the operation when it is not related to the same partition.
