DEVELOPER FOR HEAT FIXING AND HEAT FIXING METHOD

PURPOSE:To shorten the wait time while attaining excellent fixability and stable image and to allow low electric power consumption by decreasing the amt. of residual monomers to <=1500ppm. CONSTITUTION:The amt. of the residual monomers in the developer used for the fixing method of heat fixing the developed image of the developer to a recording material by a fixed and supported heating element 11 and a pressurizing member which is in pressurized contact with the heating element 11 so as to face the element and brings the recording material via a film 15 into tight contact with the heating element 11 is confined to <=150ppm. Then, the contaminating and fixing by the developer on the surface of the fixing film 15 are prevented. The wait time is substantially eliminated or extremely shortened and the fixing of the developer image to the recording material with low electric power consumption is improved. The image stable over a long period of time is thus obtd.
