A torque transmitting mechanism is accommodated inside a chamber (55) integrated in a pulley unit (1) and assembled of a hollow inner cylinder (9) and a coaxial arranged outer cylinder (10) as well as of a ring-shaped element (13) joining the parts (9,10). A steady bearing (17) located between the outer (10) and the inner cylinder (9) and facilitating the relative motion between them, is fitted with a sealing element (17d) closing the chamber (55) hermetically in order to avoid a leakage of the lubricant.
