PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To have a content receiver perform the synchronizing processing of contents without attaining synchronization again even when a content transmitter is replaced with another content transmitter.

SOLUTION: A time information generation part 205 generates transmission side time information on the basis of the information of a singular point existing in the waveform of an AC voltage supplied by an AC power source 201. A content processing part 206 adds the transmission side time information to prescribed contents, and a communication part 207 transmits the contents with the transmission side time information to a communication part 211. A time information generation part 210 generates reception side time information on the basis of the information of the singular point existing in the waveform of the AC voltage supplied by the AC power source 201. A content processing part 212 performs the synchronizing processing of the contents on the basis of the correlation of the transmission side time information added to the contents and the reception side time information generated by the time information generation part 210.
