<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission device in a traveling work machine, easy to reduce manufacturing cost, while easily improving cooling efficiency of oil inside a transmission case. <P>SOLUTION: This traveling work machine has an engine and the transmission case, and is formed by arranging a shift gear mechanism and a transmission shaft for transmitting this shift output to a front wheel and a rear wheel on the inside of the transmission case by arranging the rear wheel in the transmission case via a rear axle case.
