FOREIGN MATTER INSPECTION DEVICE IN PAPER CONTAINER, FILLING-SEALING DEVICE USING IT, AND FILLING-SEALING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foreign matter inspection device in a paper container which is inexpensive and uninfluenced by light reflection in the container. SOLUTION: The paper container 1 is conveyed and positioned by a holder 41 in the state where an opening part is faced upward. An ultrasonic sensor 62 mounted on a fixing housing 61 is arranged over the paper container 1. The ultrasonic sensor 62 irradiates an ultrasonic wave in a circular cone shape and receives its reflection. An analyzer 63 analyzes a signal of a reflected wave and measures the distance to an object, and detects existence of a foreign matter from the measured distance. The ultrasonic sensor 62 has a male screw part 62b on the outer surface of a cylindrical case 62a, and is fixed by screwing the male screw part 62b with a female screw part 61b formed on the bottom plate 61a of the fixing housing 61 and a nut 64 placed on the bottom plate 61.
