PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyorganosiloxane capable of giving characteristics such as weatherability, surface water repellancy, surface smoothness, lubricity, etc. , without damaging properties of an inorganic material, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: This modified polyorganosiloxane is a one-end-alkoxy-modified polyorganosiloxane having a number average molecular weight of 500-500,000, and represented by general formula (1), wherein R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6, R7, and R8are each independently the same or a different monovalent organic group, and n is 4-1,100.
