<p>A rainwater drainage gully has a U-shaped cross section terminating each side with a horizontal shoulder that bears a capping stone. The capping stone is supported by an L-shaped sheet metal profile resting on an adapter strip of roughly square cross section. The adapter is interchangeable. Also claimed is a manufacturing process for the adapter.</p>
