PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resolver unit for reducing a length in the axial direction, preventing magnetic coupling characteristics between the fixed side and rotated side from deteriorating, increasing the magnetic fluxes generated in a winding and having an easily multiplexed structure, and to provide a resolver using the resolver unit. SOLUTION: In the resolver unit 1, a cylinder 13 of an inner side frame 6 is provided with an inner side section 11 of a resolver body 10 on an outer side face and a facing outer section 9 of a rotary transformer 8 on an inner side face, and disposed between an outer section 21 of the resolver body 10, provided in the outer cylinder 24 of an outer frame 7 and the inner section 20 of the rotary transformer 8, provided in the inner cylinder 23 of the outer frame 7.
