<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery capable of suppressing degradation of a charge/discharge cycle life characteristic and of suppressing battery swelling in high-temperature storage. <P>SOLUTION: In this nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery 1 including a positive electrode 4 containing a lithium composite oxide, a negative electrode 3 storing and releasing lithium, and an electrolyte, 0.1-2 mass%, of the total mass of the electrolyte, of one or more compounds selected from a group comprising LiBF<SB>4</SB>, LiFOB and LiBOB or 0.01-0.1 mass%, of the total mass of the electrolyte, of LiBF<SB>4</SB>and 0.1-4 mass%, of the total mass of the electrolyte, of an aromatic compound are added in the electrolyte. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
