<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information presentation system capable of presenting information in a way that suits users, and of efficiently transmitting the presented information to users. <P>SOLUTION: The information presentation system 10 includes a server 12 that stores messages directed to users each wearing, e.g., a radio tag 16. An information presentation terminal 14 having a display device 28 and a tag detector 30 is connected to the server 12. The information presentation terminal 14 obtains from the server 12 the message directed to the user who matches a tag ID detected by the tag detector 30. Also, the information presentation terminal 14 detects the distance between the user and the display device 28 based on the strength of the received electric wave detected by the tag detector 30. When there is a message directed to the user detected, the information presentation terminal 14 displays the message in the display device 28 in the form of an image varying in, e.g., the distance at which it is identified, depending on the distance detected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
