<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network-corresponding image forming device which can perform printing, for which the capacity of the instrument is utilized to the maximum, even in direct printing by utilizing a user interface. <P>SOLUTION: A setting is performed in advance prior to the demand for the direct printing. Then, the printing demand is received (S20), and image data to be printed is received from the instrument of the demanding agency (S21). Then, whether the image demand has been set or not is judged (S22), and if the image demand has been set, a required image treatment is applied to the acquired image data, printing data is formed (S23), and the printing data is printed (S24). In the meantime, when the image demand has not been set (S22; N), the printing data is immediately printed (S24).
