<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a method for correcting a defect over at least two colored regions interposing the black region of a color filter without causing mixture of colored correcting materials. <P>SOLUTION: In a color filter 2 comprising colored filters 2B and 2C and a black filter 2A segmenting the colored filters 2B and 2C, the colored filters 2B and 2C and the black filter 2A in a predetermined area 21 including a defect over the colored filters 2B and 2C interposing the black filter 2A are removed; a black correcting material is supplied to the predetermined area 21 and a new black filter portion having the width of the black filter 2A and the thickness equivalent to the thickness of the colored filters 2B, 2C is formed; and predetermined colored correcting materials are supplied in the predetermined area 21 segmented by the new black filter portion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
