PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a master APC (Automatic Program Controller) system capable of performing automatic switching so that the audio mode of a cut-in voice is matched with the audio mode of a program being broadcast, and to provide its switching control method. SOLUTION: A CPU 22 of an APC 2 stores an internal memory with the number of audio modes ES of a PMT set to a program being broadcast, and performs switching to a sub-system 1c to which the cut-in voice is inputted and also reads the stored number of the audio modes Es out of the internal memory when a cut-in command is inputted to set the same number of audio modes ES with the voice mode of the program broadcast right before a cut-in for a stream of the cut-in voice.
